I appreciate that the commander is faster than infantry; hence his footstep sounds are more frequent. However in the SVN they are:

A: Too frequent/ too loud; I for one could not move my feet that fast and still have as heavy footsteps or as a matter of fact fight after sprinting like that. I was under the impression that the officer was faster due to the fact that he is lighter, not the fact that he goes to the gym more, so maybe you can find a compromise between the two? I know that making new sounds is hard though, so I appreciate you guys recycling the normal units' sounds.

B. Annoying; the same sounds have the tendency of repeating rather than using the left, right, left, right sound pattern used in 1.2.1b. I personally find the constant thumping of the feet with the same sound pretty annoying and think that something similar to the old pattern should be used for the commander.

Hopefully this isnít just me being irritated by it.

As far as I can tell we did not change anything about footstep sounds.
The increased speed could be the cause of this. I actually haven't played officer much, I will see if it irritates me as well later.
