I'd like to get some test sessions of the SVN going. I can host if need be, though I'd love to have a better dedicated server to do it. But I think we can make something work.

What do you think of regular test times on Tues, Thurs or Sat nights, say 8, 9, 10 PM eastern? Any preferences as to nights and times? I'm NOT saying we're doing all of those, but I am saying we should pick one or two days and times and do some testing of the SVN when a lot of USA/Canada players will be on. We should try a mock BGL match/pug and line battle testing (yes, I said it). That way we can test the game in a variety of circumstances at times when we have people playing in the US/Canada. The afternoon times we've been using produce some players, but it seems many people are out doing stuff during the day now that the weather is better here in the US and Canada.

I would like to see a clan match run on townguard. This would be very helpful. Also, some clans offered support (I think it was 15th), they're invited to participate in this, invite devs to a test session or run an inter clan scrim or linebattle as they like and report issues back to us, it would be appreciated.

I'll also add, line battlers are welcomed too. The rule though is that if we're playing skirmish in a given session, you have to play that. If we're doing a line battle or formation test, you have to do that. It's whatever we're testing, you have to be willing to play as the test requires so we can be sure this thing will work for everyone.

That's up to the people who play it I guess, some do have fun battles with lines of INJUNs once in a while at their clan practices I'd imagine. Srsly I've knocked down a whole team with a hl2dm grenade during such an event, too. LB clan practices can be pretty silly. I'm sure they have battles with natives. The light infantry class and milita class could really be used as a full line infantry replacement - not in all battles, colonial regulars or british line infantry was present. (Some of the militia units were in fact, on the other hand, equipped and experienced like the regulars)

I am in favor of using them as skirmishers apart from the main formation. The idea is that you have a formation or several formations of infantry, then these other classes will work outside the formation shooting and hiding and maybe attacking with buckshot as needed. They would be limited to one or two people per team performing these as specialist roles. I don't think we can truly have a fair and full test using just single lines of only infantry.

Militia could be used as stand-ins for troops in formation too. Indians, Frontiers, light inf all would work as individuals causing chaos and damage among the enemy as they can.

At least this is my view. We can work something out as players want. But the idea is to do some testing during the evening when people are home here in the US and Canada.

If you're interested, say so and give the best time/day in that grouping I mentioned above. We can work out something. Also if you know people who play but aren't on the boards, please bring them here if they want to test. Let them know about this so they can post here.

I've gotten some feedback saying between 8-8:30 starting time PM Tuesdays (Eastern time) is a good idea. How is that time?
