As provided by Kez, this is the changed source code:

also changed line 699 of multiplay_gamerules.cpp to

else if ( pKiller->flags & FL_CLIENT && !(strcmp(STRING(pevInflictor->classname), "mortar")))

from this

else if ( pKiller->flags & FL_CLIENT )



this fixed the cannon crashing, and the other fix was a bug with the spectators following a player, if the player died the spec crashed the server, i am not good with c++ so i just disabled it smile.gif


added return on line 1650 of player.cpp


I doubt I'll have time to compile a .so this week, things are very busy at work, but these changes can be applied to the linux source and then built using the makefile that is included as per normal.

Well I did find my old site with some links to the Source and .so file but I have not tested the .so file.

It compiled for me line numbers were slightly out using the 1.0f code on the site. Haven't tested it so may or may not work.

Thank you very much we will test it and post here. Also anyone playing BG1 you will notice some cool changes now. First your screen res, I noticed I couldnt click numbers with my mouse with the new APP 90 install of HL1 on game servers and along with some file updates client side. I had to bring my screen res up to 1650 x 1080 and selected widescreen in video options and man the game looks awesome, so awesome you can really see the flaws in the models and other things but folks it looks COOL now and seems to run better and smoother. There was also updates in AMXX and metamod that had to be installed to. Seems now bg1 is making a comeback, give it try. Watch for more updates here!!!!

With the new steampipe I think the .so file needs to be change to bg.so. Can this be done?, or does it matter?
