Just a question for the dev team. It seems if we were going to have a friendly scrim, we try to restartround, servers crashes. Like in bg1 this is a great thing but in bg2 which is newer, this command dont work or is there another command to restart round. Current bg1 command is sv_restartround 1. WHY cant this be done in bg2?

I will tell you what I think, this is horrible. Like all the other remakes of BG1 maps. There is a reason why we do not do that in any form. Do not bother to remake old bg1 maps. BG1 was a totally different game as draco pointed out and the maps are not going to work out on BG2.

At first| we have had a few matches, but we made a match config and named it match.cfg and loaded it on the server, so simply logon to rcon and run the command ‘rcon exec match.cfg’, this will then run you one round, after it’s finished go back to the same map swap sides and start the config again, just remember to take the screen shots at the end of each round.

BG2 still has some issues running some of the commands but if you restart the map after each round the config should run problem free.

See config below, which just needs your few bits changing to suit your times, limits, names etc… Also the config is still messy with lots of stuff not needed, feel free to have a play with it.

Also remember to add the command to pause your admin mods or turn them off before you run the this config

sv_restartround works fine, at least in local play with bots. I can test it a bit on Tront's server aswell.
