I was bored and fixing up my desktop after a new OS install. Steam sucks when it comes to icons for shortcuts and bg2 doesn't even have one. UNTIL NOW!

Simple but effective.
Original artwork, free to use, mod, whatever.

That lock doesn't have a flint. That is somehow appropriate.

Tell Black Panther.

Actually I think it does have a flint, but it's so bright it blends with the white background. But maybe he just forgot it too, I guess its up to imagination.

Yes.

And if you want the icon file, it is in the bg1 relase, 'bg2.ico'. The one on the website header I made myself by overlaying the cog on a flag image that came from BG somewhere but I am not 100% sure where

Just thought the cog needed an update. Am I anywhere near anything that anyone likes?

No I don't like that and it won't scale well. Also its not a cog. I am not really sure why we need a new logo?

Scale up or down? Because I tried to build an icon out of the cog and it doesn't scale down. At all.

Icon based on the "silver disk" design.

EDIT: edited the cog in PS and just added a bevel to it. Really happy with the result.

EDIT2:icon based on cog and silhouette

EDIT3:cog icon with better color and sharpness. Didn't like the soft thin bevel.

EDIT4:Just a logo for bg2. Boston Black font, beveled cog and embossed musket. The color is all over the place but the design is final. Might have to rebuild the musket as that doesn't belong to me.
