Hello smiling.gif

I think you guys have done (and are still doing) an excellent job
with that great mod of yours. Still, I would like to draw your attention
on something that I think awkward. I mean, something that strikes me
everytime. I think we can call that a skin problem, but it is more a historical
one. What is it that surprises me? Well, that the officer class holds his pistol in
what can be called a Weaver stance.

For those who never heard about this obscure stance, it is a technique which was
developed by some sheriff Weaver in California, somewhere in the late 50's. It
consisted in keeping your feet shoulder width apart (I think) and to hold the pistol
with both hands in a firm grip (I think that is more or less so; for pictures, please
watch any recent movies or check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weaver_stance)

This position makes the officer class look too much ahead of his time and strikes the
eye a little bit. I do not mean to criticize but rather to draw your attention on this, as
you guys seem to be always looking for more authenticity smiling.gif
I wonder if re-skinning is a good idea, and if that is possible.

Be civil to all, sociable to many, familiar with few, friend to one, enemy to none.

Benjamin Franklin (1706 - 1790)
