Dropping in to give you guys a taste of whats in store for you in the next release, the BG2 dev team is happy to present the newest deathcam! Check it out here:

Also in the works is a new gameplay mode similar to modes seen in Battlefield 2, Battlefront and Firearms: Source. The mode involves a fixed number of reinforcements with the goal being to drain the enemies reinforcements before yours are. Stay tuned for more updates about this new game mode and other exciting additions the BG2 dev team is working on.

No, actually I think it's just a subtle evolution of the already existing deathcam (since 1.5a, the cam does move in a certain way too). I think HP played with it some time and submitted it to svn like a month or 1.5 ago + some more polish by ad-man now.

As gRanTeLbArT said it's been in the svn for a while now, I wasn't even aware RnL had something similar. I'd also like to point out this was all hairy's work. Danihel and I thought it was pretty neat when we played the svn so we made a video of it.

but really though when there is a good idea out there that works for this game it shouldnt matter where the idea comes from but simply if it improves the game or not. bg is very similar in objective style to day of defeat which is the best game ever made and often I would have liked to have some dod ideas in this game, particularly support for para_ type gameplay and objective system, really good ideas that worked well for dod and would work just as well for bg imo.

I hear it everyday. Natives should get bow and arrows. Natives and Milita should be able to throw the axe. I'd have to agree with both.

LOL Deathcam = gay, Top three maps plz have them in next release and throw the rest out, strangeways, snowfort and glasswar, thanx TRR, Death and Hp for those top three maps.
