As of August 14th, The Royal Recruits are 5 years old. Founded in 2004 by Arquebusier and Forlorn Hope, The Royal Recruits are now the oldest active dedicated line battle clan.

In celebration I've put together a Youtube Channel which already contains a few hours worth of footage of games long past. You can visit it hereTRR 5th Anniversary Youtube Channel. The Project is ongoing and new videos will definitely be added in the future, so subscribe if you're interested

The Royal Recruits have always made a point to produce content to facilitate their line battle niche and this year is no different, I'm proud to announce The Royal Recruit Map Pack which contains the latest versions of all seven line battle maps we have created since 2007.

The pack also includes our latest map which is quite large and offers a different version of the line battle experience.

I hope you enjoy the videos and maps and heres to another five years for The Royal Recruits.

It's been a real joy to be part of a group with such exceptional people. I feel privileged to be a part of TRR.

Ps: I know i made Strangeways pretty awesome, but please, play another map, love Macs.

We had a chance to try out trr_cemetrygates this afternoon and it was absolutely wonderful for line battles.

The Urban landscape offered some pretty neat differences from regular line battle gameplay.

I sure hope 51st see this and realise there is more to life than strangeways.

Along with all the other clans who seem to be unaware of the meaning of the word "variety"

It seems to work fine for me, perhaps try refreshing or restarting your browser and checking the cord to the internets.

If you still can't get it to work:

I didn't follow TRR to BG2 but I was there at the beginning and some of the goofy stuff I came up with is still in place which is equal parts heartwarming and embarrassing. TRR has outlasted KRR and has kept a lot of what made that clan special, and to say that's no small feat would be a massive understatement. And Arquebusier is still the most genuine guy I've met online.

Keep keeping on, fellas.

I see TRR is still referencing the Smiths strongly.

I ought to shoot Forlorn a message about this thread-- he'd be interested in saying something probably.

Forlorn Hope was present during the anniversary celebration and did a good job commanding one of the American platoons during a linebattle on cemetrygates.

Also congratulations for being the first person to pickup on all the blatant smiths references. Now I don't have to name my next map trr_ITSASMITHSREFERENCEGETIT?
