Ok. bg2 has a blend mod texture already (think it's from dod:s) but blend modulate has a lot of ability, potential and power so I thought I'd work on some new ones. This first one makes grass to snow blends more appropriate for how snow actually looks.

This is the effect I wanted to create in the first place. A new snowfall with pockmarks of grass. Just lightly paint the alpha channel

specifically for tides stone floor. blend that texture with granular (dirt, sand, snow, etc.) textures.

same as the tides texture except it fits tomdons cobble stone.

Using a blend texture to simulate snow on clapboards. I'll release this when I've played with it more.

This is an update to the clapboard blend modulate. still working on it but I was able to achieve sharper transitions when I realized the red channel is the "sharpen" channel.

The clapboard texture is a modified cg-texture (i think. I can't remember where I got it). The blend texture is completely original. The snow you all have. Just add the James folder to materials.

Nice work, bg2 seriously needs a facelift as far as mapping materials go.

Tested and refined with grass over dead grass and grass over rock. Haven't tested with anything else.

I think blend modulates will be fun to play with to see which seemingly opposing textures work well together.

keep in mind that bg takes already a lot of your computer's resources and every server runs shitty with +12 players. U should work on the netcode before modeling new stuff, etc.
