Okay I discovered this. If you reload and then move the reload animation disappear and it looks like you arent reloading. This can sometimes be very frustrating when u cant see if the player is reloading or not.
Screenshots can be provided if ur too lazy to go and check for yourself. |

Are you talking about the first person reload animation or the third person reload animation?
If you're referring to the latter , Half-Life 1 had that problem and I'm not sure if it's adressed in Half-Life 2. |

Im talking about 3rd animations.
Btw kinda all the 3rd animations are messed, especially the way they hold the rifles, that annoys pretty danm much. |

Everyone is aware of this. The game is still in Alpha/Beta development so they still haven't come around to taking care of the animations.

mate, the HL2DM reload anim is a quick reaching for a clip and slamming it in near the hand that would be near the stock or pistol grip. BG1 had a animation where the player fiddled around with it really obviously, I believe they are with the anims that ForK made for the player models, so you might see em next patch.
